Fire Destroys Sapulpa Home

Fire destroyed a Sapulpa home early Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the home before 5 a.m. in the 8400 block of Westway. The home was already engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.

The Sapulpa Fire Department says no one was inside when the fire broke out.

Firefighters say it appears the fire started at the north end of the home and spread rapidly. No one was injured.

Fire officials don't believe lightning sparked the fire. An investigation into the cause continues.
