People from all walks of life, from all over the nation, are doing things to raise money for the tornado relief effort in Oklahoma.
One idea dreamed up by an 11-year-old Verdigris girl caught our attention. The sixth-grader designed a fundraising t-shirt, expressing her hope for the Moore tornado victims.
Holly Morgan is pretty handy with a sketchpad and her family has a t-shirt business. They do a lot of team shirts and spirit shirts for area favorites. They even once designed a shirt for a White House softball team in Washington D.C.
So, the t-shirt idea was natural for Holly. She and her mom transferred her design to the computer and they were off.

Her mom, Stacy Morgan, showed us how the design is transferred to the fabric.
Holly's design started with the words "Hope" and "Moore," and then she added a red heart and a tornado. Like so many of us, she said she wanted to do something.
"I wanted to help Moore, because I was watching television and I saw there was a lot of destruction and stuff, and I wanted to help them as much as I could," Holly said.
Holly has priced her t-shirts at $10, and all the money raised will go to the Moore relief effort through the American Red Cross.
