The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a driver early Wednesday after he was stopped for going the wrong way on I-44 in Catoosa.
The OHP says another driver called 911 after seeing a pickup going west in the eastbound lanes at the Creek Turnpike at around 12:30 a.m.
A trooper stopped Tyler Holland, 31, of Inola and arrested him.
The trooper says he placed Holland in the back seat and Holland indicated he was getting sick. As the trooper got Holland out of the car, Holland began fighting with the trooper, according to the OHP.
The trooper wasn't seriously hurt.
Holland was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of suspicion of driving under the influence.
