A crash ended a Tulsa Police chase early Wednesday.

An officer attempted to pull over a car with an expired tag on North Peoria at about 12:30 a.m. when the driver sped off.

As the chase turned east, police say the fleeing driver crossed Utica and lost control of the car. It went through a fence, hit a tree and came to a stop against a utility pole.

Kermit Brannon, 35, of Tulsa was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail for having no driver's license, driving without insurance, not wearing a seat belt and the expired tag.
