Paramedics treated a Catoosa man for smoke inhalation after his mobile home went up in flames late Tuesday.
Catoosa Fire got a call about an explosion and fire in the 25000 block of East Pine just before 10 p.m.
Fire Chief Denus Benton says the man was asleep on the couch when he awoke to smoke and ran out of the home.
His neighbors called 911 after hearing an explosion.
The man was not transported to the hospital.
Benton says it's common for there to be small explosions in house fire. He says the mobile home did not have smoke detectors.
Two dogs inside the mobile home also made it out safely.
Catoosa Fire had to spray water on a mobile home next door to keep it from catching fire.
No word yet on what sparked the fire.
