Kent Matthes' three-run homer in the second inning gave the Tulsa Drillers an early 6-0 lead over the Arkansas Naturals.
Then, everything fell apart.
The Naturals immediately answered with four runs in the top of the third, then scored two in the sixth and two in the seventh to seize control.
Jett Bandy, Matt Long and Robbie Widlansky all doubled in the third to get Arkansas back in the game, while Matt Long's solo homer in the top of the seventh finally put the Naturals ahead.
Tim Gustafson allowed four runs in five innings for Tulsa, but the bullpen struggled as well. Joe Gardner couldn't put out the fire, allowing two runs in 2/3 of an inning, while Isaiah Froneberger took the loss, allowing three runs in two innings.
Lay Batista earned the win for Arkansas despite allowing six runs in six innings. Kevin Johnson pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his third save of the season.
The loss drops Tulsa to 10-10.
