Tulsa Police arrested a 42-year-old man Thursday after they were notified a missing 14-year-old Nebraska girl was with him.
According to jail records, Dennis Lewis had driven to Nebraska this week to pick up the teen after chatting with her over the Internet.
Police located Lewis in a neighborhood near Pine and Lewis with the teen in his car.
Records show Lewis had sent numerous text messages since April 1, 2013 to the teen's phone "indicating they would have sexual intercourse if she came to Tulsa."
Lewis was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on eight complaints of lewd molestation of a minor and a complaint of enticing away a child under the age of 16 and violating the computer crimes act.
Police say Dennis Lewis is a convicted felon. According to the Oklahoma Department Corrections Lewis has served time for larceny convictions out of Tulsa County.
