A 21-year-old Tulsa man was arrested early Wednesday after he was spotted by security on the roof of a local school.

According to jail records, Dominic Gentry was spotted "tampering with the air conditioning units" on roof of Alcott Elementary in the 500 block of East 46th Street North just before 3 a.m.

Tulsa Public School security spotted him on surveillance cameras and notified Tulsa police who arrived, found and arrested Gentry.

Jail records state Gentry told police he "did not have a job" and was on the roof "to get copper tubing from the air conditioning units."

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of trespass on property with the intent to commit theft. Records show Gentry has a April 9th court appearance set.
