A man who may have been driving under the influence of alcohol was injured in a single-vehicle rollover wreck at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday. The driver of a Dodge Ram pickup was going westbound on Interstate 44 near 193rd East Avenue when his truck went left of center, near hit some oncoming traffic then ran off the road.

The pickup struck some trees and turned over, coming to rest on its top. The man, who was alone in the truck, was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

"There is some indication that he may have been intoxicated, and that's under investigation," said Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Lieutenant Vern Wilson.

"Luckily this gentleman didn't lose his life nor the person he nearly hit. It could have been a lot worse."
