OHP: Hit-And-Run Driver Causes Crash On I-44 In Tulsa

A woman was taken to the hospital after her car was hit from behind on Interstate 44 early Wednesday and the other driver took off.

The crash happened at 2:45 a.m. just west of Sheridan Road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a black pickup struck the woman's car, causing her car to hit a wall and spin around.

The woman's daughter was following in another car and told troopers the pickup stalled after it hit her mom's car, but the driver was able to restart it and drive away.

EMSA took the woman to the hospital. Troopers said she is expected to be OK.

OHP does not have a good description of the pickup or its driver.
