Three Jenks High School students were named as Honorable Mention Winners in this year's national C-SPAN StudentCam competition.

Jenks High School seniors Angela Chang and Hank Hargrove and sophomore Hannah Rogers named as winners. The annual national video documentary competition encourages students to think seriously about issues that affect their communities and the U.S.

Each entry created a short 5 to 8 minute video documentary on the topic, "Message to the President."  What's the most important issue that the president should consider in 2013?

Angela Chang's "A Country Left Behind: America's Struggle with Education Stagnancy"

Hank Hargrove's "U.S. Energy Consumption: Exploring Possibilities"

Hannah Rogers' "Poverty and its Effect on Education"

Cox Communications sponsored the Jenks student's entries.
