A 94-year-old Ralston man is in a Tulsa hospital after getting pinned under a tractor Sunday afternoon.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 94-year-old Lester Earl Trinkle was trying to start a Kubota tractor while standing next to it. The tractor was in gear, and when started, struck Trinkle, pinning him underneath.
Fairfax firefighters were called to help move the tractor and free Trinkle. He was flown by medical helicopter from Fairfax to Tulsa where he is said to be stable with leg, head and arm injuries.
The accident occurred on rural property in northern Pawnee County.
