Six Golden Eagles scored double-digits Tuesday night as Oral Roberts blew Central Arkansas right off the court, 94-65.
ORU (17-10, 12-3) completely dominated play in the first half, scoring in bunches and taking a 50-27 lead into the break. From that point, the Golden Eagles coasted to the easy win, but still managed to outscore the Bears by six in the second half.
Damen Bell-Holter led the way with 17 points and 10 rebounds, but his teammates weren't far behind. Warren Niles scored 16 points, while Shawn Glover added 14, Korey Billbury chipped in 12 and Mikey Manghum finished with 11. Steven Roundtree added a double-double off the Golden Eagles' bench, scoring 13 points and snagging 13 rebounds.
Central Arkansas (9-16, 4-11) was led by LeQuentin Miles' 14 points and Jarvis Gardner's 12. ORU shot 49.3 percent as a team to UCA's 34.2 percent. The Eagles outrebounded the Bears by an impressive 52-33 margin.
Next up for ORU is a nonconference bout against Weber State on Saturday. The Wildcats of the Big Sky Conference should give the Golden Eagles a solid late-season test.
