A bill aimed at helping human trafficking victims wipe away some of their crimes will go before the state Senate.

Representative Sally Kern's bill unanimously passed the house Monday.

The measure would allow sex trafficking victims to ask the courts to remove prostitution convictions from their records.

Kern says many of the men and women were underage or forced into the crimes and should be treated as victims, instead.
