A man and woman were charged Thursday after police said they stole two trucks and led officers on a chase through town.
Brandy Rudlang-Reed and Jerod Linthicum are still in the Tulsa County jail.
The chase started with an auto-theft sting. When an officer tried to pull over the driver of the stolen truck, police said Linthicum saw the lights and drove off. He wrecked shortly after the chase began.
Rudlang-Reed, who police said had been trying to run the officers pursuing Linthicum off the road, kept going. She caused a collision at 4900 East Admiral Place, driving, at that point, on two flat tires, after police threw down stop sticks to try to stop her.
The other driver involved in that crash, an 81-year-old man, was taken to the hospital to be treated for chest pains, police said.
Rudlang-Reed eventually smashed into a street sign, an SUV, and a tree near 14th and Delaware.
She got out and ran after the crash, but police a K-9 tracked to an abandoned house, where she was arrested.
Linthicum is charged with knowingly receiving stolen property, resisting an officer, eluding an officer, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Rudlang-Reed is charged with attempted assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unauthorized use of a vehicle, three counts of leaving the scene of an injury collision, eluding a police officer, two counts of resisting an officer, driving without a driver's license, and failure to carry insurance.
Her bond has been raised to $49,500, and Linthicum's was raised to $32,000.
