Tulsa Regional Chamber Announces Agenda For 2013

The Tulsa Regional Chamber and its partners unveiled their agenda for the 2013 legislative year Thursday.

For the past few months the chamber has compiled a list of the top issues facing northeastern Oklahoma to be compiled into what is known as the One Voice agenda.

That agenda will be presented at the state capitol and before the state's Congressional delegation, and focuses on issues like Oklahoma's Medicaid expansion, education funding and worker's compensation reform.

"These are just three critical issues that we feel will be three of the top issues on the front burner when the legislation convenes next Monday in Oklahoma City," said President and CEO of the Tulsa Metro Chamber Mike Neal.

The One Voice agenda got a record number of endorsements this year, with 61 organizations joining the effort.
