Tulsa firefighters rescued two people in an overturned Loomis armored truck on a Tulsa highway Friday morning.
Tulsa Police say a pickup truck pulled in front of the truck and slammed on the brakes. That forced the driver of the armored truck to swerve and caused the truck to roll over.
The crash closed two southbound lanes of Highway 75 at 23rd Street South.
EMSA took the driver of the armored truck to the hospital. Another man who was riding in the back was not hurt.
Tulsa Police say there is money in the armored truck and officers remained on scene until several large wreckers and a crane righted the truck and moved it.
