Racing fans are getting revved up about AMSOIL Arenacross this weekend at the BOK Center.

But before the action begins, riders have to have a track to race on.

It takes about 170 truckloads of dirt dumped into the BOK Center to make that happen.

"It take us all day to get the dirt in and the track roughed out," said Bill Heras. "Tomorrow, we'll do a lot of the finish work. Saturday, we race. Sunday, we race amateur day. Sunday night, we take it all out."

That's the next few days in a nut shell. Bill Heras is the event manager. He's responsible for getting it all done.

But the first order of business is all the dirt. See how that's done in the video above.
