The Rogers State men moved up two spots in the latest NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 coming in at No. 18 in the rankings.
Rogers State went 2-0 over the past week with victories over Oklahoma City and St. Gregory's. RSU improved its record to 15-5 on the season and 3-3 in conference play.
John Brown moved up six spots to a tie for fourth in the most recent poll after besting the Oklahoma Baptist Bison. OBU slid from No. 5 down to No. 10 in the rankings with a16-4 record on the year. The USAO Drovers moved up two spots to No. 21 in the polls giving the Sooner Athletic Conference four teams, including RSU, in the top 25.
This week marks 22-straight mentions in the polls for the Hillcats, second only to OBU with 56-straight.
The lone undefeated team in NAIA men's basketball, Columbia (Mo.) sits at No. 1 in the poll with a record of 20-0.
Rogers State travels to West Texas to face Wayland Baptist on Thursday, Jan. 24 and Lubbock Christian this Saturday, Jan. 26.
