A reward is being offered for information regarding an armed robbery at Woolaroc's gift shop near Bartlesville on Sunday night.
Woolaroc will offer $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible, a news release said. Bartlesville's Crime Stoppers has added an additional $1,000.
The Woolaroc gift shop was robbed as the Oklahoma tourist destination ended its Wonderland of Lights event, according to Woolaroc Chief Executive Officer Bob Fraser said.
The lights display ended at 9 p.m. and one minute later, a man entered the gift shop and walked up behind a female employee. The man said he had a gun, and shoved something into the employee's back. The alleged gunman told the woman to get on the ground, threatening to kill her if she did not.
Woolaroc is a ranch, museum and wildlife preserve in the Osage Hills of northeastern Oklahoma and the former country estate to Oklahoma oil baron Frank Phillips.
