Pittsburg County authorities are trying to locate a Wilburton man who got on a Greyhound bus in McAlester on October 13th headed to Oklahoma City but then disappeared.
McAlester Police say Greyhound has buses which leave daily for Tulsa and Dallas.
Police say Virgil Rigsby, 69, purchased a ticket for Oklahoma City on October 13th and got on the bus. What they don't know is, if he got off the bus in Tulsa or Dallas or any stops in-between en route to Oklahoma City.
McAlester Police Lt. Kevin Hearod say Rigsby is a white male and was last seen wearing blue overalls. Family members say Rigsby has a low IQ and a speech impediment.
The family says he was moving to Oklahoma City to stay with friends, but they don't know who those friends are or where they live.
Lt. Hearod say when Rigsby does travel he likes to stay in shelters and they are checking at shelters in Dallas, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
