A new app will help the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office communicate more effectively with the public. The app is available for both iPhone and Android devices and is the first of its kind in Oklahoma.
Users have real-time access to detention center information, victim notifications, news, and directories.
Information about Amber Alerts, escapees, manhunts and other local emergencies are pushed right to your smart phone.
"We were the first agency in the state, if not the nation to have a web page, so we always try to stay up on the latest in technology," said Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz.
The app is free to download on iTunes and Google Play.
