George Kaiser Family Foundation Pledges To Match Cash Donations To Food Bank

One of Green Country's biggest philanthropists is encouraging Oklahoma's Own to donate to the Community Food Bank tonight.

From now until January, 31, 2013, the George Kaiser Family Foundation says it will match dollar-for-dollar any cash donations to the Food Bank, up to $100,000.

The Foundations says it will match first time contributions, as well as increased contributions from anyone who adds to a previous donation. Also, anyone who has donated, but not in the past two years, can have their donation increased.

For every dollar donated, the Food Bank can provide five meals to those in need.
