Caring Tulsans teamed up to brighten the holidays for Tulsa kids.
The folks from "Youth At Heart" and Friendship Church brought an early Christmas to some less fortunate children on the city's north side.
They gave away 16 bikes Wednesday to kids that have been working with the program after school.
Organizers said seeing the kids' faces light up was the best part.
"We want to reward them for their hard work, so it's gonna give them more of a sense of earning what they did, so we're really proud of the kids," said Veronica Banks, of Youth At Heart.
Youth At Heart and Friendship Church are partners in an after-school mentoring and tutoring program that teaches the importance of study skills, life skills, and diversity.
