A Tulsa man was arrested Saturday after his 16-year-old family member said he came into her bedroom and raped her.
Tshaka Ali Rivers, 31, was booked on a complaint of first degree rape of a minor.
According to the arrest report, the girl said Rivers told her, "We are going to keep this between us."
Police said the girl immediately told her aunt, who then contacted police. They said the girl cooperated and completed a sexual assault examination.
Rivers has been featured in News On 6 stories before. Just last month, his 7-year-old son, Elijah, was hit by a car and killed while on his way to the bus stop before school. Rivers spoke with News On 6 from the candlelight vigil the family held after Elijah's death.

Rivers has also spoken with News On 6 in his capacity as program director of New Hope, an organization that helps children who have parents in prison.
Rivers said then that his dad was in prison while he was growing up, and Rivers himself was arrested when he was in the ninth grade.
He is being held on a $50,000 bond in the Tulsa County jail.
