Hundreds lined up on Black Friday for the grand opening of Miranda Lambert's new store, The Pink Pistol. The store is located in Tishomingo.
It sells everything from antiques to boots to jewelry.
"The store itself came from my husband [Blake Shelton]," Miranda Lambert said. "He encouraged me to open it. I love to make things."
Lambert is a Texas native, but says Tishomingo, a small town about 120 miles south of Oklahoma City, is her second home.
The name, The Pink Pistol, comes from her all-female band, the Pistol Annie's.
"Everyone in this town has gotten behind me and everyone has decorated their windows in pink," Miranda Lambert said. "Everyone gets to see how Blake and I live when we aren't on tour."
Instead of Black Friday, Lambert said she calls the day after Thanksgiving Pink Friday and hopes to make it an annual tradition.
There is more information about her store on Facebook.
