Tulsa Man Found With Ear In Pocket Charged With Kidnapping, Maiming

Prosecutors charged a Tulsa man with kidnapping, maiming, and assault and battery Thursday.

They say Joseph Sidney Hall, Jr. viciously beat the mother of his child before cutting or tearing off part of her ear.

Police say Hall held the woman against her will at some South Tulsa apartments and beat her, breaking ribs and collapsing a lung.

Officers say they found blood stains and clumps of her hair inside the apartment and Hall had part of her ear in his pocket.

He's being held in the Tulsa County Jail on a $300,000 bond.
