A Tahlequah man is facing two charges of child abuse by injury after he allegedly gave two boys, ages 5 and 10, permanent tattoos.

A Tahlequah man is facing two charges of child abuse by injury after he allegedly gave two boys, ages 5 and 10, permanent tattoos.

According to an affidavit filed in Cherokee County court, Rocky Gritts, 26, is charged with tattooing the two boys on their hands sometime between October 19th and 23rd.

Gritts was reportedly staying at the same home where the boys were living.

Gritts is being held in the Cherokee County jail on $15,000 bond. His next court appearance is November 28th.
