GRDA Board Names New Member

Governor Mary Fallin announced the appointment of a new member of the Grand River Dam Authority Board of Directors Friday.

Allen Wright, of Edmond, is the Vice President of Devon Energy.

Prior to working for Devon, he was the director, chief operating officer and vice president at Koch Industries.

Wright will take the spot left vacant after David Chernicky's resignation last month.

Chernicky was at the center of an Oklahoma Impact Team investigation into competitive bidding laws, after it was revealed Chernicky voted to approve multi-million dollar GRDA contracts, steering business to his brother-in-law's company.
