Twenty-six years ago this week, was the last great flood along the Arkansas River.
Thousands were evacuated, almost 2,000 homes and businesses were under water, and there were hundreds of millions of dollars in damage.
Our video vault was full of spectacular pictures of the flooding and of people trying to fend off the rising water.
As Rick Wells shows us in the video above, high water took its toll from Kansas to south of Muskogee.
