A section of highway will be named in honor of an Owasso soldier killed in Afghanistan.

Sergeant Schuyler Patch was 25 when he died in 2009, after an improvised explosive device blew up near his vehicle.

Saturday, Highway 169 from 86th Street North to 96th Street North will be renamed the "Sergeant Schuyler B. Patch Memorial Highway."
