Two women were taken to a Tulsa hospital after being hit by a drunk driver early Friday morning, according to police. The crash happened just after midnight near 31st and Garnett.

Tulsa Police say a car driven by 25-year-old Cory Butler of Bristow struck the rear of an SUV with two women inside. That impact caused the women's SUV to hit a third car, before it slammed into a street sign.

The impact destroyed both the SUV and the first car.

Police say the Butler refused a soberity test by telling the officer, according to jail records, he shouted an expletive and said, "I'm drunk, why are you asking?"

Butler was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, having no driver's license and a seat belt violation.

The driver of the third car was not seriously hurt.  No word on the condition of the two women.
