Tulsa Resident Tries To Put Out House Fire With Garden Hose

A Tulsa police officer discovered a house fire at about 3 a.m. Sunday just east of Lewis on Independence in north Tulsa.

The resident was trying to put the fire out with a garden hose.

Tulsa firefighters were called in. They set up a ladder pipe to make sure the fire did not spread.

No one was injured. Firefighters were still investigating the cause of the fire.
