Art Of Barbecue Festival Heats Up In Tulsa's Blue Dome District

It smells like barbecue in downtown Tulsa Friday evening.

The folks at Back Alley Blues and Barbecue are hosting the annual "Art of Barbecue."

It's in the Blue Dome District at Second Street and Elgin Avenue.

Teams compete for nearly $10,000 in a world-class barbecue cook-off contest. There's also live music, art displays and activities for the kids.

The event benefits the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa.

If you're hungry - the fun lasts until 11 p.m. Friday, and things get going again Saturday at 11 a.m., just in time for lunch.
