Three jet pilots from Tulsa competed in the Reno National Championship Air Races this weekend.

One finished first in his race and another finished fifth.

Pilot Cliff Magee finished first in his race and Scott Krause came in fifth in his, both flying 426 miles an hour over a 48-mile-long air race.

Another Tulsa pilot, Bob Pezold, was disqualified for failing to maintain proper altitude during the final qualifying round.
