Tulsa Thief Steals Truck With Sleeping Woman Inside

Police say a woman awoke in a pickup truck to find herself in the middle of a high-speed chase during a carjacking incident in Tulsa early Thursday morning.

Tulsa Police say a man drove the truck to the QuikTrip near Admiral and Delaware around 2 a.m., with the woman asleep in the car.

Leaving the engine running, the man went inside.  Police say another man got into the pickup truck with the woman still asleep and drove off.

That man led police on a chase down Delaware, eventually crashing near the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Tulsa Police say the woman was injured in the crash. EMSA took both the woman and driver to the hospital. There is no word on their conditions.
