The Tulsa Shock had won three of its past four games but couldn't keep the momentum going on Friday night.
The Shock fell 92-83 to the Minnesota Lynx in Minneapolis.
Rebekkah Brunson had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen also scored 19 points each to lead the Minnesota. Seimone Augustus had 18 points and Taj McWilliams-Franklin added 14 as all five Lynx starters scored in double figures.
Riquna Williams led the Shock with 21 points, while Ivory Latta chipped in 19 points and four assists. Roneeka Hodges scored 12 and Courtney Paris added 10 as the only other Shock scorers in double digits.
Tulsa actually out-shot Minnesota from the floor, 50.7 percent to 44.2 percent but the Shock scored eight fewer points from the foul line and made one fewer 3-point basket.
With the loss, Tulsa fell to 6-20 on the season and Minnesota improved to 21-4.
Tulsa returns to the court when it plays Seattle on Thursday at 9 p.m. in Seattle.
