Police arrested a man wanted for first degree murder in connection with last Saturday's shooting death at a Tulsa apartment complex.
Agents with the Eastern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Kris Bridges, 20, in McAlester Thursday.
A warrant was issued for Bridges' arrest on Monday, after he was named as a suspect in the shooting death of Quincy Jones on Saturday night, at Fairmont Terrace Apartments, in the 1000 block of East 60th Street.
Police said agents set up on a residence associated with Bridges and when they knocked on the door, Bridges ran out the back. Bridges hid in a wooded area and was apprehended shortly after.
Police also spoke with Jamel Saafir, and said he is no longer being sought as a person of interest.
Bridges is now in the Pittsburgh County Jail, awaiting extradition to Tulsa.
