Tulsa Judge Sentences Terrico Bethel To Life In Prison For Sweeney Murder

A Tulsa judge Tuesday morning affirmed a jury's recommendation and sentenced Terrico Bethel to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

A Tulsa judge Tuesday morning affirmed a jury's recommendation and sentenced Terrico Bethel to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

This follows Bethel's conviction on Friday, August 24th 2012 on a first degree murder charge.

The jury also recommended Bethel be sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiracy to commit murder conviction and the judge agreed.

The judge ordered the sentences to be served consecutively.

The jury found Bethel guilty in the 2008 murder for hire plot against Tulsa businessman Neal Sweeney.  Bethel did not testify in his own defense.
