Bridge Work Done, State Reopens Highway Between Barnsdall And Pawhuska

Crews closed down the highway in early July so ODOT could replace the 87-year-old "structurally deficient" bridge just west of Barnsdall.

Traffic on state Highway 11 between Barnsdall and Pawhuska is moving again after the state Department of Transportation finished work on a bridge replacement project over Red Eagle Branch Creek.

The highway was reopened to traffic Wednesday. 

Crews closed down the highway in early July so ODOT could replace the 87-year-old "structurally deficient" bridge just west of Barnsdall.

The project cost $685,000.
