Governor Appoints Tulsa Attorney To State Civil Appeals Court

Brian Goree received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from the University of Tulsa.

Governor Mary Fallin has named Brian Goree to the Court of Civil Appeals. 

Goree replaces Judge Carol Hansen, who has resigned.  Goree has practiced law for more than 20 years and has worked at law firms in Tulsa.

"With more than 20 years experience in litigation research and writing, Brian Goree brings to the court a great knowledge of the law," Governor Fallin said.  "I am confident Brian will serve the state well in his new role as a judge on the Court of Civil Appeals."

Goree received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from the University of Tulsa.

Goree is a volunteer with Tulsa Lawyers for Children.  He is a past chairman of the Appellate Practice Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
