Suspected DUI Driver Gets Ticket, Ride To Tulsa County Jail

A man is arrested for Driving Under The Influence after causing a disturbance then driving over a curb near a popular Brookside bar at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

Tulsa Police say it happened outside The Warehouse at 33rd and Peoria.

Officers say the driver got into his SUV, sped off before striking the curb.

Police eventually caught up with him at a QuikTrip a few blocks away.

He was arrested on suspicion of DUI; two passengers in the SUV, who were also intoxicated, had to find another way home.

No one was hurt.
