Along with the wildfires burning through Mannford in and around Saturday, another grass fire started north of Kellyville, also in Creek County.

Fortunately, the fire isn't as big as the one that has been burning since Thursday in Mannford, and firefighters said no structures have been damaged, at this time.

Unfortunately, though, the fire is burning as close as 75 yards away from some homes, and firefighters are working hard in intense conditions to keep the flames away. They're going from hot spot to hot spot, knocking down flames, only for another call to come in.

Firefighters told the News On 6 that they believe the fire burning an area of about two square miles was started intentionally.

The Turner Turnpike was closed westbound from the Tulsa gate to the Bristow gate for about an hour and a half Saturday afternoon due to that fire. All lanes have been re-opened since 4:22 p.m.

So far, no injuries have been reported in this fire.
