The Tulsa Drillers dropped their second straight game, falling 5-2 to the Arkansas Travelers in the first of a four-game series at ONEOK Field.
Arkansas struck first in the top of the first inning on a two-run homer from Roberto Lopez off Tulsa starter Josh Outman. The Travelers tacked on two more runs in the fourth off a Darwin Perez ground ball double.
Tulsa finally got on the board in the seventh inning when Jimmy Cesario hit a line-drive double to right field, scoring Kent Matthes. The Drillers scored shortly after when Jose Gonzalez singled to drive in Cesario.
Arkansas knocked out a solo homer in the eighth for good measure to seal the victory.
Outman was charged with the loss after pitching 5.1 innings and allowing seven hits, four runs, two earned runs and striking out five.
The teams meet again at ONEOK at 7:05 p.m.
