Our Own Rick Wells Takes His Dog 'Dottie' For DNA Test

If you own a mutt or mixed breed dog, you've probably heard that question dozens of times.

Rick Wells got his mixed breed dog, Dottie, from the Animal Rescue Foundation.

He knows she's part something and part something else, but when asked, he usually just makes it up.

So, Thursday, he began the process of finding out her breed by taking her for a DNA test.

Rick won't get the results for another couple of weeks, but until then, watch the video above to see how the test is done.
