Tulsa Seniors Enjoy Afternoon Shucking Corn

Some residents at Heatheridge Assisted Living spent the afternoon shucking corn for their evening meal.

For a few residents, it was like going back to days gone by. For others, it was just good fun.

"Especially if you can look forward to the reward you're going to get when you eat that," Roy Hughes, Heatheridge resident, said.

Many of them grew up on a farm and enjoy the hands-on connection with the crops.
