The Tulsa Shock acquired veteran guard Roneeka Hodges from the Indiana Fever in exchange for Karima Christmas, coach Gary Kloppenburg announced on Monday.
Hodges is averaging 3.2 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 8.9 minutes with the Fever this season. Hodges tallied a season-high 15 points in a 91-68 victory against New York on June 2.
"Roneeka is a veteran pro who is a proven three-point shooter with excellent scoring ability," Kloppenburg said in a press release. "She gives us an added outside scoring threat and is also a good defender."
Hodges played in college at Florida State. The Shock will be her fifth WNBA team in seven seasons.
The Fever will receive Christmas, a 6-foot guard/forward, who was averaging 3.6 points per game for the Shock this season. Christmas was signed by Tulsa last July off waivers after being released by the Washington Mystics.
