New Upscale Grocery Store Gives Tulsa Another Shopping Option

A new grocery store claims it will give Green Country shoppers a "unique" experience.

The Fresh Market opened near 81st and Yale in south Tulsa Wednesday.

It's the very first one in the state.

The upscale grocery store stocks organic produce, exotic cheeses, and other specialty products.

They even make sushi right in the store.

"You can ask the chef and he can make their own sushi fresh, while the customer is shopping at Fresh Market," said Ryuzo Aoki, an employee of The Fresh Market.

That's right; they'll customize it for you.

But their real claim to fame?

The Fresh Market says they offer luxury products and independent brands you won't find anywhere else.
