A Kansas teen is among the finalists for a national design competition. The Solomon junior made a prom dress and suit for her date out of duct tape.
Brooke Wallace spent more than 200 hours on the creation and used 42 rolls of duct tape. She says she went with a western theme because if fit their lifestyle as a country kids.
If she wins, the two would each get $5,000 college scholarships, plus their high school would get $5,000 as well. Voting goes on until July 11, when the winners are announced.
For last year's prom, Wallace made a dress out of Mountain Dew cans and soda pop tabs!
