Two 3-Year-Old Girls Found Safe After 4-Hour Search Near Tahlequah

Two 3-year-old girls were found safe after a four-hour search in a heavy woods near Tahlequah Friday.

The sisters were reported missing by their grandmother to the sheriff's office at approximately 11:30 a.m.

One of the girls was found just 30 minutes after the report. The second child was located four hours later.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers assisted Cherokee County Sheriff's deputies in the search.
